Problems accessing email with SSL
A few days ago, without any changes to my email client settings, my POP3
connections for my Zohomail account began
failing. The reason given for this was a failure to complete the SSL
handshake, specifically "SSL connection failed (A TLS packet with
unexpected length was received.)".
My email client is Claws Mail on Linux, and my settings are:
username: [omitted from post]
POP3 server: pop.zoho.com
Port: 995
Require SSL: Yes
I have tried turning "Non-blocking SSL" off and on, and this
doesn't appear to make a difference. I also tried disabling SSL 3.0,
but that also didn't help. (As a work-around, I also tried using
STARTTLS on port 587 and port 110, but in both cases, it timed out.)
...so in summary, there is a failure to negotiate an SSL connection,
which just started out of the blue a few days ago with no settings
changes. I see a few other users in your forum reporting the same issue
-- have you guys made any SSL-related changes lately?
Looking through the forum, there are quite a few other people who
appear to be affected by a change made around January 20 or 21, who have
been having SSL problems ever since:

I emailed Zoho support on January 23, including screenshots of my
settings, and have heard nothing back. Please let us know what's
going on with this issue!
