Problems navigating contacts

There needs to be some way of quickly navigating contacts.

SORT BY LASTNAME
Zoho CRM should provide the ability to sort by lastname, even though the order of the name remains "firstname lastname".  Zoho CRM's present inability to sort by lastname (except by changing the name order) is ridiculous.

SCROLL FORWARDS SPEEDILY
Some way of quickly scrolling forward.  I have 30,000 contacts, so I could easily have 2,000 Bs... how to get to the names beginning with 'Bo...' ?
> A search for 'bo' produces all records with 'bo' somewhere in the search field, not what is wanted
> There is no way of getting to the 'Bo's except by clunking forward 50 names at a time. That could mean 40 clicks, which is completely unacceptable.

The lack of this sort of basic functionality leads one to feel that Zoho won't really make it.  These are basic, elementary 'getting about the page' tools, not provided by Zoho CRM. 

Does Zoho CRM only hire junior-level people?  Does CRM only hire people who cannot imagine searching a 30,000-large databse?   Do they hire people who don't speak up?  Or are they too thinly spread, with too many products? 

Probably all of the above.
