Problems with Encoding new Mails

Hi,

we downloaded the actual version of VO. But we have Problems with Encoding outgoing mails. Because the german language has several special characters we must change manually in "create new mail" from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1. What mast we do to make this automatically?
