[Product Update] Locations module migration in Zoho Books integration with Zoho Analytics

Dear Customers,
 
As Zoho Books are starting to support an advance version of the Branches/Warehouses module called the Locations module, users who choose to migrate to the Locations module in Zoho Books will also be migrated in Zoho Analytics-Zoho Books integration
 
Please note the below changes which will occur as part of the migration process.
 
1. "Branch" Module Renamed to "Locations"
 
The "Branch" module in Zoho Books will be renamed as "Locations". This new module will consolidate both Branches and Warehouses data into a single unified Locations module.
 
2. "Warehouse" Module Deprecation for New Users
 
The Warehouse module will no longer be available for new Zoho Books users. Existing users, however, will retain their warehouse data, but moving forward, all data will also be stored and updated in the "Locations" module.
 
3. Updates to Lookup Columns in Related Modules
 
All references to "Branch ID" in lookup columns across various modules such as "Accrual Transactions", "Invoice Items", and others will be renamed to "Location ID".
 
Impact on Zoho Analytics Queries and Reports:
 
Post-migration, any existing reports or queries in Zoho Analytics that use the "Warehouse ID" column must be updated to reference the "Location ID" column.
Notes
Please note the impact is only for existing Zoho Books-Zoho Analytics users who want to migrate to Locations module in Zoho Books and are currently using Warehouses and Branches.
 
Recommended Actions for Zoho Analytics Users
 
1) Review Existing Queries and Reports: Identify all queries and reports where the "Warehouse ID" or "Branch ID" columns are being used.
 
2) Update Columns: Replace these references in query tables and reports with "Location ID" in your Zoho Analytics workspace.
