Is there a way to customize Products module for a company which sells services?

I need to remove all Stock Information data, because services can't be quantified or stocked.

Our services are educational courses and can be quantified in levels or/and time.

Do I need to purchase Zoho Subscriptions or I can do that using custom product module?
