I want my sales force to be able to go to the products section and be able to see a list of accounts that are using a particular product that they are discussing with someone.

 

This means that the query for the section needs to be that the account is set to 'Customer' in order to filter out Potentials and that the product needs to match the product the sales person is looking at. At least that is what I think it needs to query.
