How do you do plan projects in Zoho Projects when tasks can exceed budget and "Budgeted vs Planned" only syncs every 6 hours?

How do you do plan projects in Zoho Projects when tasks can exceed budget and "Budgeted vs Planned" only syncs every 6 hours?

I'm just getting started with Zoho Projects (and other Zoho products). There are many great features and some that could be improved. However my biggest shock/surprise in terms of limitations is in the Project Planning abilities.

These are two issues I see as major problems for planning projects;
  1. If I create a project with a budget of 100 hours, Zoho allows me to input tasks greater than 100 hours.
  2. I can only refresh/re-sync "Budgeted vs Planned" every few hours (the portal syncs every 6 hours, and I can manually update one additional time during this 6 hours).
As a project manager I want to be able to plan my project and ensure it fits within Project Budget and the resources to complete the project are available. Both these issues prevent me doing this - at best I have to wait 3 hours and "refresh".

Surely this is a major design flaw?

Zoho Projects should have settings to force project to fit within budget or to give warning if the planned work hours exceeds the budget. Budgeted vs Planned should ideally automatically resync, but as a minimum we should be able to resync manually at any time.

How do you plan your projects in Zoho?

If I am missing anything obvious please let me know &/or please reply with any tips as regards you plan projects to fit within a defined budget.
