Are you going through the long-yet-important process of publishing an extension in multiple data centers (DCs) one by one? Then this post is for you.
Previously, you had to log in to individual DCs to publish an extension and its associated functions, and to make changes to the extension, you had to manually update it in all the DCs where the extension has been published. Thankfully, you don't need to go through this lengthy process any more.
Publishing your extension in multiple DCs has been made much easier. Now, you're provided with an option to publish an extension and its associated functions in all DCs simultaneously, without hassle.
Here's an example of how to use this option to publish your extension in multiple DCs. Let's say you have built an extension in the US DC, and you want to publish the same extension in other DCs, such as IN, EU, etc. You can do this by enabling the Multi DC feature on the Publish Details page.
When the Multi DC option is enabled while publishing your extension, you can easily collect the Install URL for each DC that you choose from the dropdown list as shown in the below snapshot.

Note that for all the published extensions, you can change the Multi DC status only during the next version update. And, we need you to migrate to the Sigma function as the Multi DC feature is not available in the desk functions. To learn more about the migration process, click here.

We request that all developers migrate to the Sigma function to give this a try and please leave your feedback in the comment section below!
