Publishing Your Documents

Publishing Your Documents

With Zoho Docs 3.0, you can now publish you documents and make it available to the whole world. Once you publish your documents you get a URL that you can share with anyone, by posting it in a website a blog or even social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

To publish any of your documents, just follow these steps:

  1. Right click on the document you want to publish
  2. From the drop down menu, select Properties
  3. In the pop-up window you will see a Make this document public option.
  4. A Make Public pop-up will appear. Select the To External World option
  5. A link to the published document appears in the dialog box.
  6. You can then embed the link in a website/blog or add it on Facebook and Twitter.

Your document will be accessible from this URL until you either delete your document or choose to stop publishing. To stop publishing, open the publishing dialog again and click the Publish icon. In the Make Public pop-up you will see a Remove Public link at the bottom. Click on it and the document will be made private again and cannot be viewed by others.
