We’ve rolled out a new feature that makes it easier than ever to harness the power of Zia’s generative AI—right within the workflows your teams use every day.

With the brand-new Prompt Builder for custom buttons, you can define your own AI prompts to generate personalized content, insights, or summaries on record pages and list views. Whether you need to draft a follow-up email, summarize a lead, or analyze a customer account, you’re in control of the instructions—Zia handles the rest instantly and in the right context.

For example, business analysts can configure prompts that uncover key insights such as SWOT analyses, competitor summaries, or pipeline bottlenecks—directly within CRM records. Each custom button becomes a powerful launch point for context-aware AI support.



Each button is backed by a fully configurable prompt, where you can:
  • Write clear instructions using a built-in editor with merge field support.

  • Set the style and length of the response.

  • Preview the AI’s output with sample record data before going live.

One of the key features is augmented prompting. When you define a prompt, Zia shows you the results in the CRM context—like record specific details.



You can use this to support a wide range of scenarios across teams.
  • Sales teams for instance, can generate quick custom summaries of leads' backgrounds—including sources, status, and owners—before follow-up calls.
  • Marketing teams can use prompt buttons to instantly draft personalized email content, proposal templates, or even create customer milestones or success stories directly from within Zoho CRM.
  • Support teams can rephrase technical content, translate email threads, or tailor responses using the customer’s interaction history.
