Hello everyone!
We hope you're doing great!
We're here with a new and exciting typeface for Zoho Mail. Let us read further to know more!
Puvi is a typeface made in Zoho. "Puvi" (புவி) is a word derived from Tamil, an Indian language, and it originally means "Earth". It also means "humility" and we often refer to it as a "Down-to-Earth font".
While designing Puvi, we were meticulous in achieving optimal spacing between the letters for perfect legibility - kerning, no matter the size or weight. Click here to know more about Puvi.
Puvi and Zoho Mail
So far, we've been giving three typefaces in Zoho Mail - Lato, PT Sans and Arial, with Lato being the default and the most used. Now, we provide Zoho Puvi to look consistent across our ecosystem and to ensure that you have a comfortable reading experience.
We want to let you choose what works best for you, which is why we have provided you with the option to change to your preferred font from the settings.
In the following images, you can compare Zoho Mail's UI when in Lato vs Puvi.
