I want to be able to use the QR Code on a mail merge document that ive created. This document is basically a "job sheet" that my service guys take with them to jobs. If they want any more information it would be cool to get their phones and scan the qrcode and it open in a web app or the zoho app itself showing the related Deal.

This doesnt seem to be possible, because like a lot of the zoho ecosystem, it falls short on the final hurdle. In this case you can choose a webURL from the Inser QR Code wizard but the field required to be selected to call a the deal within the url isnt exposed on the webui and therefore cannot be dynamically populated during the mail merge.

the 2842207* number is what i am trying to append to the end of the URL

is there anyway to grab this number? this would be handy
