Noobie here.
So I'm setting up a workflow automation notification action. What I'd like to happen is when a Case is opened and a custom field is checked an email is sent to the Contact Owner.
When I set up my email template and then eventually select Contact Owner as a email recipient no email is generated. It appears that the contact owners, who are all users, are not tied to the email addresses.
I know my notification action fires off because when I hard code the email address in the additional email field I get an email.
Any ideas on how do I fix? Its like I need to select the email address of the Contact Owner.
