question about the display when an email is received from zoho

When someone receives an email from me it does not say from: blah@zoho.com it says from: "other email address." I noticed this when I compose a message it reads from: <otheremailaddress> blah@zoho.com. Is this because I do not have a domain or because it is the default for the free email address sign up? Is there a way to change it so it says from: blah@zoho.com when a recipient reads it?
