Quick Call Logs, Custom Fields, Improved Call Reporting

Many salespeople don't use the CRM because the process of entering data is a tedious task .
It's also hard to get meaningful reports when data is not standardized.

For example "Subject" is required this forces sales people to type more then necessary and it's hard to sort reports for important things like voicemail, wrong number, etc... because the field is not standardized. This should really be a optional radio button or drop-down select box. Also, the log should have a field to show what number was called.

Also, "Call Type" is required and the default is "Inbound". The majority of sales organizations make significantly more outbound calls then receive inbound calls. This means the salesperson has to click to change the field for most calls. This would also be faster as a radio button.

To add notes about a call you have to click "more fields" to even see the description field. This really slows things down, this interface should let people enter notes immediately without having to click something else.

It would also be nice to have all the "quick action" fields for adding a call on the sidebar without having to even click "Add a new call" first because sales calls are a frequent task for many salespeople.



It would be very helpful if this area was customizable like other areas of the CRM.
