Quote and Invoice PDF's

Is there any way to format the text on an exported .pdf for a quote, sales order or invoice? It shows up fine in the app, for example in the description or terms and conditions, but as soon as you push it to a PDF in an email or preview, its a big BLOB of Text. It would be enormously beneficial if I could for example, format text in that space to emphasize terms or items in the quote. Perhaps similar to this .

Is that in a plan or is it possible today and I am missing it?
