I'm trying to figure out how to adapt Zoho CRM "products" and "quotes" to fit our Message on Hold business.  One problem I have is that pricing for our services depends on a host of factors, from the length of the contract (1, 2, or 3 years) to the number of locations served.  We offer discounts for longer contracts and for multiple locations.  We also have several pricing structures - Monthly billing, annual billing, one-time payment, etc.  Prices also vary depending on the number of productions used - 3, 6, or 12 are standard.

I've almost got the pricing structure in Zoho CRM figured out, but we have so many variables, I'm having trouble accounting for them all in the "products" tab and the "price book" tab.   One solution I tried was to create products based on number of productions and payment type.  So my basic products are:

  • 3 change monthly payment
  • 3 change single payment
  • 6 change monthly
  • 6 change single
  • 12 change monthly
  • 12 change single

To accommodate multiple locations, I thought I would create a price book for clients with multiple locations - except this is where I start running into trouble:

I have this Quantity field that I have to use - should I make this the number of locations served under the contract?  And is there any way to customize ZOHO CRM so it shows up as "Locations" instead of "Quantity"?

And how can I build in a variable for contract length?  Am I going to have to duplicate all my products for 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year contracts?
