Re-index? Corrupt mailbox?

We have one mailbox that we use on a daily basis.

For a long time, it worked great.


For the past week or two, the performance of the ZOHO Mail application has degraded significantly, at least for this mailbox.  We are using Chrome.  And have tested the recent mailbox issues in Firefox.  Both browsers have the same problems.

For example:  Our new mail no longer reliably appears in the Inbox unless we REFRESH the page.  Sometimes, newer messages appears long before older messages.  Sometimes, like today, we are unable to view the content of emails.  That includes nearly all emails.  They no longer appear in the preview window.

QUESTIONS:  Is it possible that this mailbox is damaged?  Or in need of a re-indexing?
