Read More Button and Linking to Articles that aren't in URL Format

I've added a 'read more' button under a particular topic on my campaign so that if the reader clicks on it it opens a new page where they can read the full article.

A customer service assistance provided the following advice:

"Kindly select the word >> Click on Create link >>Enter the Web URL >> Save.

So the reader who clicks the link will be re-directed to the desire page.”

However, there is no existing URL page that I can link the reader to because I want to type the article myself. (I also don’t know how to or if I can create my own web URL).

I could type the reading content into a textbox under a topic heading instead of creating a 'read more button'. but I don’t want to overload the main page with information and that way the reader can click on whatever topic they are interested in and get the full article which opens in a different window.

To clarify, I do not have a URL available to link or anchor the 'read more' button to as it's an article I have written myself that I want to direct readers to.
