Real email going to spam, filters not working

Hi,

I have a problem which is pretty serious: genuine emails from potential clients are landing in the spam folder.

I set up filters to filter any emails with words like "offer", "translation", etc. (things that tend to be in the subject line), but for some unknown reason, the filters are not working.

This is quite a serious problem as I have to keep manually checking the spam folder even on my mobile when I am out, just to make sure I've not missed anything...
