Recent updates: Execute lead conversion mapping in Sandbox and Attach files from Zoho WorkDrive

Hello everyone,

We have introduced the following enhancements in Zoho CRM:

Lead Conversion Mapping can be first executed in Sandbox to ensure mapping across the modules is done correctly before deploying to the production account. The fields from the Leads module can be mapped with the respective layouts in the ContactsAccounts, and the Deals module. Once you are sure with the mapping you can deploy it in the production account.

Files, documents or folders present in the Zoho WorkDrive can be attached to a record in CRM. Attachments can be included in a record using the file upload field, attachment related list, and emails.

The users will be able to access the attached files based on the permission that is given to them while attaching a file to a record.
The sharing settings available in WorkDrive are:
  • Anyone in the Team or organization can view
  • Anyone with the link can view (users outside of the org).
  • Members with access permission in WorkDrive.
Creating WorkDrive account from CRM
If an organization does not have a WorkDrive account, the administrator will be able to create a WorkDrive account while attaching files or folders to a record. This administrator will also be the administrator in Zoho WorkDrive and all the other CRM users will be added as Team Members.
