recently modified accounts view is not accurate

recently modified accounts view is not accurate

I've been modifying accounts for the last two hours and the left hand side"recent items" shows that accounts I've recently modded... BUT the
ShowDetails.do?module=Accounts&quickcreate=true
and
Accounts: Recently Modified Accounts View
does not show the accounts I've been modifying.

I'm terribly disappointed by the inconsistencies in the searches and the views.
