Record-Level Cliq Conversations Inside Zoho CRM

It would be extremely useful to bring the Zoho Projects + Cliq conversation experience into Zoho CRM records.

Today, in Zoho Projects, each project or task can have its own related chat conversation through Cliq, allowing team members to discuss that specific item while keeping the conversation documented and easy to find later.

I would love to see a similar feature inside Zoho CRM.

For example, on any CRM record such as a Lead, Contact, Deal, Account, or custom module record, users could create a dedicated Cliq conversation linked directly to that record.

This conversation should:

  • Be attached to the specific CRM record

  • Allow inviting one or more team members

  • Keep all discussions, files, links, and decisions in one place

  • Remain visible from the CRM record page

  • Be searchable later as part of the record history

  • Support multiple conversations per record if needed

Today we can share records to Cliq or send notifications, but those discussions are disconnected and difficult to track later. After a few days, the context disappears into different chats and channels.

Having a true record-level conversation space inside CRM would make internal collaboration much cleaner, especially for sales teams, customer service teams, onboarding processes, and any workflow where several employees need to discuss the same customer or record.

It would basically become a "discussion room" attached to each CRM record, like a mini project channel living inside the CRM itself.

This would turn CRM records from static data pages into living collaboration spaces.
