I noticed that over the past couple weeks I wasnt seeing any new applicants come through.

Today I tried the application myself and was given an error message that the 1000 records (free acct) limit had been reached.

When I logged in to my account there were actually just over 800. ????

Why would this happen?

I exported and deleted 600+ records and everything is fine now.

How can I ensure that this doesnt happen again?

Maybe this is worth looking in to???
