Recurring Invoices not generating – "Next Invoice Date" has passed despite "Active" status

Hi everyone,

We are currently experiencing an issue in Zoho Books where our recurring invoice profiles are not generating invoices/drafts as scheduled.

The Problem:
As shown in the attached screenshot, the "Next Invoice Date" (Nächstes Rechnungsdatum) for several profiles was 30.04.2026. Today is 03.05.2026, but the system has not created any invoices or drafts yet. For profiles executing 2 days earlier it was still working.

Details:

Status: All affected profiles are clearly set to ACTIVE (Aktiv).

Frequency: This is happening across both monthly (Monatlich) and yearly (Jährlich) cycles.

Settings: We haven't made any recent changes to our automation settings or workflow rules.

Questions for the community:

Is anyone else seeing a delay in recurring invoice generation recently?

Could this be a server-side issue or a "stuck" background process within Zoho?

Are there specific settings (e.g., approval workflows or payment gateway conflicts) that might suddenly block the generation of these invoices?

We need to send these invoices out to our clients urgently. Any insights or suggestions on how to trigger these or what to check would be greatly appreciated.
