Referencing other contacts in a contact record

Referencing other contacts in a contact record

I'd like to be able to uses Contacts to keep track of our societies. Is it possible to have a field self-refer to the Contacts table.

I'm thinking of a section for Board officers. Would be nice ( and efficient) to be able to select them from a popup of contacts rather than redundantly re-entering their contact info user added fields for that purpose. Hope I'm being clear here.
