Regular crashing of ZOHO CRM in Android - both tablet and phone apps.

Any clues as to what this might be.  'Unfortunately there's been an error - Zoho CRM has stopped.

I've uninstalled it on my phone (galaxy s3) altogether, as it stopped loading every time with the crash message above. 

The tablet Galaxy NOTE 8 does better as you can use it, but it crashes 1 in three times at the worst moment, such as after entering a large note field, losing the lot.

Also, on the phone, any incoming phone call would freeze the phone - then Zoho would pop up with its message. Only when I closed it could I answer the phone - which was usually too late.
