Rejected Emails not being seen by Sender

Emails sent from within ZOHO CRM are not being sent to the originating sender. We have tested this and find that if you send an email that is to an address that is misspelled or not existing, then there is no notification to the sender. The sender assumes all emails in the CRM are valid when they are not. It is imperative we know when an email bounces back in order to maintain a clean database. Can anyone advise if there is a configuration on the user side that we may be missing, or is this a shortcoming of ZOHOCRM?
