Relate an Email to a Contact?

Is there anyway to compose a new email and have it related to a contact? For example, say I'm sending my office manager an email about a specific customer and I want that email message saved to the contact account just like it would if I sent that contact an email so any time I'm in that contacts account I'll see any emails related to that contact. Thanks!
