Related field error

I am at my wits end regarding a "Related Field" error that keeps happening and no one at ZOHO seems to be responding.

I created a look up field early on when I set my ZOHO CRM account up with a look up to ACCOUNTS.

A month or so ago it started to error and only show numbers not the accounts name. The accounts internal code number I can only guess. Well I corrected a huge amount of data and it seems to be working properly.

Starting a couple of days ago it all started happening again. All my data in that field has been converted to a extremely long number string. I cannot and will not continue to fix this problem.

It also makes some critical scheduled reports not run because the criteria is wrong since it is looking for the account name - not a number.

Has anyone else experienced this and is this something that can be fixed very quickly. This is really causing me problems.
