We sell the tooling that goes into these machines; the data for the tooling potentials is tracked in the standard Potentials module.

In the Potentials module is a custom field called Quote Number that the rep is supposed to fill in. 

In the Machine Lead Potentials module is a custom look-up field called Tooling Quote Number. I also created a related list that links Tooling Quote Number (parent) to Quote Number (child). My intent was to link the Machine Lead Potential with the Tooling Potential; that all the rep would need to when entering a Machine Lead is click Tooling Quote Number to find the tooling quote and select it so it auto-populates with the quote number from Potentials. 

When I click on Tooling Quote Number, however, I can see the Account Name, Potential Name and Quote Number (and some other fields), but can only select the Potential Name. How do I make Quote Number selectable so the reps don't have to key in the number?  Please see the screen shot below:
