relational database

I see that there are notes on the forum about adding relational database capability to Zoho database going as far back as 2007/2008. I am looking for this functionality but cannot find out how to access it. Has this functionality been added yet? If so, how can I use this functionality to validate a field value against a lookup table as soon as the value has been entered? Thanks!
