Remove product from a quote or clear product details.

I have a Quote with a couple of products in "Product details" section. I need to update quote with some new data and I need to remove some products. Can I clear product details in a specified quote and add products again? If it's not possible to do with API methods, is it possible to remove a product from the list or something?
