Removing Tags in Bulk (from a lot of contacts)

Removing Tags in Bulk (from a lot of contacts)

I have a large number of contacts that I want to remove a tag from.  More than the 200 that will show on a single page.

- I go to Contacts > Contact Tags
- I select the tag I want to remove to get a list of all the contacts with that tag
- I then use search to display the subset of contacts that I want to remove that tag from
- I click the checkbox to the left of the Contact Email column header in the contact list

This only selects the displayed contacts.  When I select similar checkboxes on other pages it asks me if I want to "Select all the contacts matching the current view".  That option is not presented.

How can I remove the tag from the whole list of matching contacts?
