report criteria

In the report criteria options, when selecting a date criteria it would be very helpful to be able to have an option "over XX days" or "before XX days". This would allow selection of all records which had been modified over XX days ago, but not within the last XX days.

Or, if this is already possible, can you tell me how it is done?
