I have been able to create a report for Events Planned for the Future.

The filters in Leads and Contacts allow me to look at records with no open Activity - is there a way to do this as a report? Ive tried a number of ways, I just can't seem to get it to work.

On that point, it would be great to convert filtered views straight into a report
