Reporting Completed Tasks

I am so confused. I can't seem to make a report for my boss of all completed tasks. Basically, I need a report that will show completed tasks during a certain week. So, the due date doesn't help me. Sometimes it's overdue by a week and sometimes it has already been done before the due date. I need a report that actually says, this phone call was completed during this particular week. Does this make sense? It seems like it's so simple and I may be missing something but I have tried everything under reports, in the list of tasks, etc... and still can get task, date completed, and who/what the task is related to.
