Reports: Group by month for Potential Pipeline Report

Is it possible to group the Potentials by Month (as opposed to day)?

I'm trying to generate a stacked chart of Potentials by Stage by Month (see attached)

The closing date (x axis) should be grouped by Month. Any ideas? e
