Resource planning: locked in at only 40 hours for employee

Can someone confirm with me the flexibility of setting different level of hours for different employees while doing resource planning?  We had the enterprise version of Zoho Projects but found that we had to set all employees at 40 hours per week.  Has this changed at all?  Is there more flexibility?  Thank you.
