Completely new to the Zoho API.

It looks like the only way to query for CRM entries by Email is to construct a custom COQL query?

I would have thought the Records API would have allowed you to pass criteria but it only seems to allow you to pass id which you would probably never know and using a COQL query assumes you know what the field names would be in the tables themselves?
