Hi:
In addition to my main Zoho mail account, I set up a Zoho POP account to POP mail from *another* web mail provider into folders of that Zoho POP account.
(RFE1):
Currently, when I'm logged into that *other* mail providers Web interface, I have the option of "Replying-As" another email ID (and I have several configured for that other provider). But when I POP email from that other provider into the corresponding Zoho POP account, I lose that "Reply-As" ability -- in other words, I can only Reply-As the email ID configured for that Zoho POP account -- and there is no means to configure alternate Reply-As email ID's for Zoho POP accounts.
As a temporary work-around, I have the Zoho POP setting for that other provider configured to leave messages on the POP server when they are POP'ed. This enables me to reply as whom ever I want by logging into the other providers web account. (because the original email is still there). But this is (1) a big hassle, and (2) when I send replies via the other providers web account, the SENT folder on the other provider will have the record of the reply, but the corresponding Zoho POP account will not. That's is a problem.
This is easily fixed by allowing us to either inherit and use the same alternate email ID's we set up on our main Zoho mail account; or alternatively allow us to configure new email ID's for Zoho POP accounts. PRETTY EASY.
(RFE2):
We need to option of sharing email folders between all configured accounts -- including non POP accounts and POP accounts. Generally the same tree of folders and folder categories will be needed again and again whether you are organizing email into specific folders on you non Zoho POP account, or on Zoho POP accounts. To have to set up the same structure between all accounts is a big pain. The same is true for incoming email steering filter rules. We should have the option of sharing the same rules.
Thanks and Regards,
Noel
