Route 53 Does Not Allow Two Nameless (Blank) MX Records

I successfully added Zoho's first MX record using a blank name in Route 53.

However, when I try to add the second MX record, I get an error:

"Tried to create resource record set [name='example.com.', type='MX'] but it already exists"

Obviously I swapped the actual domain with example.com just for this post, and I assume it probably goes without saying that "@" doesn't work in Route 53 fwiw.

Do I really need the secondary MX record?

If so, what do you recommend as a solution?
