I'm taking a look at the ability to utilize the potentials module for tracking projects through their various sales stages.
One thing I am having issues with is "Closing Date" Often times at early sales stages in our business, closing date is unknown until a request for quote is recieved, and or goes out tender. However prior to this, there are a number of sales stages that we require to track. I was unable to rename "Closing Date" to something that would be less confusing such as "Estimated Completion Date" so that it was not confused with the RFP close date. The issue I forsee is that should the Closing Date not be update when we we are in the stage, leading up to quote, if "closing date" is not updated or over looked, there is then the possibility that you could miss the due date on response.
Let me know if there is a work around to either rename the manditory field, or remove manditory until later stages.
