Salesinbox - Add Reminder

In the "Reply" pull-down menu there is an option for "Add Reminder". User can set a reminder subject and a time period. Do those reminder show anyplace else, other than in the Reminders section inside of SalesInbox? It appears those reminders are not included in Activity Reminders list which pops up in the lower right-hand corner, nor do these reminders show in the Notifications list on the home page.

I find that I am always missing these reminders.
