I believe what I am asking for is what many of your clients have been asking over and over. Below is the request again:
A contact in zoho books should be allowed to have both credit and debit entries, should be allowed to have both bills and invoices, should have a single ledger statement. And no, linking of a customer and vendor is not THE option. It will never be. Please get this fixed on priority. Don't say no to this request or put it in your roadmap. Its something which needs to be implemented right away.
I have been using zoho books for over a year now, its an amazing software, ever evolving and with great customer support. I see the benifits to it and so i use it. But every other day, I have to explain the lack of 'single contact for both debit and credit' to my directors, my accounts team and to anyone I discuss this software with in general. Trust me when I say, people lose interest in the software and dont take it seriously the moment they find this feature missing. Its not a feature request, its not an enhancement or good to have, its a basic and must have feature for any accounting software.
I am still sticking around with zoho books and I would love to stay for life, but please get this very basic thing done right now.
