Scheduled Maintenance - Zoho Mail (24 Dec 2013)

Thank you all for your continuous support to Zoho Mail. 

We are planning for some maintenance activities in our Data Centers on 24 December 2013 (6:00 p.m.  - 11:45 p.m. PST ). There will be very minimal impact for the users using Zoho Mail. 

Important Note: 

If you have added the IP address of our servers directly anywhere in your configuration, please check and change the records to use the MX Rrecords / SPF Records as per the advised settings.

Similarly for POP/ IMAP or SMTP servers, if you are using our IP Addresses directly or have added any Zoho Server IP addresses in white-list you may need to check your configurations as our IP addresses will be switched for some time during the maintenance period.

Important Information for CRM, Recruit Mail Add on Users, Contact Manager, Zoho Support users: 

Email Retrieval in POP accounts: 

The POP accounts in Zoho Mail, will not retrieve emails automatically during the maintenance period. You need to click on the 'Refresh' icon (or press 'm' from your keyboard), to retrieve the emails manually. 



Even in this case you may have to white-list our server sender1.zohomail.com 
in your Email Service, in case you have added the IP address 72.5.230.103 to your white-list earlier. 

Google Apps Users: You may receive unusual activity alert regarding Zoho Mail POP retrieval, when you retrieve emails manually. We suggest you to ignore the alert email indicating access from sender1.zohomail.com
