Scheduling in different time zones

Hi,

I'm often invited to attend webinars & telecons hosted in other countries, where the scheduled time for the event is not my timezone. In Z Calendar, Google Calender, Outlook etc etc, I have to do the timezone calculation myself taking into consideration:
- if the host has provided a timezone
- if the host has put am/pm
- if I know what the TLA for the represented timezone
- if I know the timezone, need to know how many hours ahead or behind that is from GMT
- if that timezone has Daylight savings and if it is inforce
- if GMT is currently enforcing Daylight savings

If I get all these considerations right, I then pick the new time and add an entry. If users use Outlook, G Calender, perhaps even Z Calendar and create an entry in their timezone and invite folks to the appointment, the calendaring engine does the time zone calcuation itself. Nice....and expected.

However, many invitations to events are done via email. So I have to do the timezone calculation manually. In some other calendaring tools, I can choose a dual timezone slider to see alternative times. However I would need to continually change it depending on which timezone I'm in, or where the host is.

It would be nice if when I enter an appointment into Z Calender, that I could choose the timezone of the mtg in the host timezone, and have Z Calendar auto-calcuate/reschedule into my calendar in my timezone. That would vey handy.
