Scenario: When viewing a report with a long list of records, you are scrolling down and reviewing all the data. Then you see a record that needs to be edited. You edit the record and save, but when you are returned to the previous report you are viewing the start of the list. You then have to scroll, scroll, scroll to find the record that was just edited so that you can continue down the list from where you left off and review the rest of the data.
Is it possible to make the app automatically scroll back to the position in the list where you found the record which needed editing? So for example, if you are viewing a list of 1,000 records and you edit record 732 down the list, you are then returned to the list at a position where you can see record 732 and the surrounding records. I know how to do this in an Access database using bookmarks but I don't know if there is a similar function in Deluge.
I don't want a function that will apply additional filters to the report. It needs to return to the report as it was with any previously applied sorting, filters and groups.
It needs to be able to work on the web and mobile versions (phone and tablet) of the app.
It needs to work with the standard "edit" process using the form on which the report is based, and also with slide left/slide right events on the mobile platforms which trigger an edit to the selected record.
Thank you.
