Search email on MacPro not working

When I enter a search box with an email address I want to see from two months ago it does not work.

The page just goes on an never ending seeking indicator with the little arrow design in line s

I can not scroll down the past emails,

I sent sreen shots of this problem some months ago but issue persists.
