Search feature

RE: Usage of Search feature

Could you please provide detailed information on the Search feature, as to what fields it will search for information and what fields it will not search. This is very important to know when designing the structure.

Today,

1) I added a custom Textarea field to Leads and then mapped it to all other modules.
2) Added a few words into the new textarea field, to test search feature
3) Ran a search to see if it would find these words
4) It did not find them

I am using the new custom textarea field as a Hot Words type of fuction. Words that would could relate to this lead group, but would not probably relate to other possible new lead groups. This is why I did not use several normal regular fields and have many of them. It might only relate to this one group.

So could you please advise what fields it will search?
